SIGA hosts third annual charity pancake breakfast in support of White Buffalo Youth Lodge

August 27, 2019 – Saskatoon, SK – SIGA is thrilled to host our third annual charity pancake breakfast for White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL).

Everyone is welcome to join us for breakfast on Friday, August 30, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at SIGA’s new office located at 103 Aspen Place. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will go towards WBYL. To date, this event has raised more than $12,000 for White Buffalo Youth Lodge.

White Buffalo Youth Lodge is dedicated to improving the quality of life and health for children, youth, young adults, and their families in our city through free programming that is made available by funds raised from events such as our pancake breakfast’ says Patricia Cook, VP of Corporate Affairs. ‘We’re excited for the many community leaders and dignitaries who will be joining us to support this event, share a meal and help raise funds for the Lodge.

New this year – everyone who makes a monetary donation at the breakfast (any amount counts) will receive a ticket for an upcoming race at Wyant Group Raceway and be entered to win an experience in the Dakota Dunes Casino Race Car experience! The draw for the Dakota Dunes Casino Race Car experience will take place during the breakfast Friday at about 9:15 a.m.

A donation box for school supplies will also be on site at the event to collect supplies for children and youth as they prepare to go back to school. The following are items we are looking for to be donated: pens, pencils, pencil crayons, markers, loose leaf paper, binders, back packs, rulers, erasers, whiteout, duo tangs, and running shoes.
