November 9, 2018 – Yorkton, SK – A Saltcoats man is $1,427,038.42 richer after winning the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s Smoke Signals™ jackpot. Robert Green hit the top tier progressive at Painted Hand Casino on November 7, 2018.

When asked what he is going to do with the money, Green says,

“I am not going to feel it until I have the cheque in my hand. I have two Harleys and will be buying another one for sure!”

SIGA’s president and CEO Zane Hansen congratulates Green as SIGA’s newest millionaire. “On behalf of our entire organization, congratulations to Mr. Green on this life-changing event! We’re thrilled to be able to welcome him to SIGA’s millionaire club.”

For General Manager Charles Ryder, this win is very exciting for the casino staff and the local community. “This is the second Smoke Signals top tier million dollar progressive jackpot won at Painted Hand Casino. We’re happy to have another one of our patrons walk out of our casino as a millionaire. Congratulations to Robert!”

To date, Smoke Signals has paid out a total of $14,709,053.86 via the top tier mystery jackpot. Smoke Signals has been reset to one million dollars and can be won again at any time.

Smoke Signals is a SIGA-wide progressive jackpot that links 52 slot machines at all six casinos. There are three mystery jackpot tiers that increase over time, with specific starting and ending prize values. The largest mystery jackpot has a minimum value of $1,000,000 and pays out before it hits $2,000,000. Each time a patron plays a Smoke Signals slot machine, any of the jackpots could be triggered.
