Lloydminster resident takes home more than $89,000 in winnings from Gold Eagle Casino

August 14, 2018 – North Battleford, SK – A Lloydminster woman is $89,012.32 richer after a visit to the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA)’s Gold Eagle Casino (GEC).

Shelly Harrison won the Touchdown jackpot on the Rider Nation Progressive on August 9, 2018. She says she shared some of her winnings with her family. She wants to save the rest for now to think about what to do with it. “It’s a lot of money,” she said.

“We’re always excited to see one of our patrons walk away a big winner! This is a life-changing event, and, on behalf of Gold Eagle Casino and SIGA, I wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Shelly,” says Kelly Atcheynum, General Manager, GEC.

The Rider Nation Progressive consists of 32 slot machines across all six casinos with patrons spinning to win one of four jackpot tiers. This mystery jackpot is guaranteed to pay out between the minimum and maximum value at each tier level. Each time a patron plays a Rider Nation Progressive game, they could win up to $100,000. The jackpot has now been reset and could be won at any time.

SIGA’s exclusive Rider Nation Progressive has paid out more than $8 million in total jackpots since it was introduced in 2015.

Gold Eagle Casino is a premier entertainment and tourist destination located in West-Central Saskatchewan. Founded in 1996, GEC is owned and operated by SIGA, which operates six, soon to be
seven, First Nation casinos in Saskatchewan. GEC regularly draws more than 28,000 visitors each month from the local area and surrounding provinces.
